Permissions
Choose what each portal administrator can do in a workspace.
Permission levels
| Level | Meaning |

| Read | View the section |
| Edit | View and change existing information |
| Create | View, edit, and add new information |
Permissions are separate for each workspace.
Sections you can control
- Sites
- Chargers
- Users
- Reports
- Charging Profiles
- Tariffs
- This workspace
Host-level billing access is assigned separately and is not part of the workspace permission table.
Presets
| Preset | Access |
|---|---|
| Read-only | Can view everything |
| Operator | Can view and edit, but cannot create |
| Full control | Can view, edit, and create |
You can apply a preset and then change individual sections.
Change an administrator's access
- Open Workspaces.
- Select the workspace.
- Open Users.
- Find the administrator.
- Choose Edit permissions.
- Select a preset or change individual permissions.
- Apply the changes.
The person must already have a portal account before they can be added as an administrator. The workspace owner has full access and can transfer ownership to another administrator.
Common problems
A page is missing from the menu
The administrator may not have access to that section.
A user can view but not change data
Give them Edit access for that section.
Full access still does not show a feature
The feature may not be included in the workspace plan. Permissions and plan access are checked separately.
